Nuts and Bolts of Coding Task Management
- After a design has been approved, new coding tasks will appear for developers.
- click the Tasks link in the upper right hand side of the page
- click the Search button
- select a coding task
- click the Edit link
- if you are not to code this part of the detailed design then click the Delete button and you are done
- if you are to code this part of the detailed design
- specify the commitment as an integer percentage
- make sure that the coordinator checkbox is checked if you are working alone on this task
- click the Save button
- click the Display link
- click the Task link
- click the Edit button
- make any relevant changes here
- you most probably will want to change the start date based on the rest of your workload
- click the save button
